Synopsis

Title translation: The Rainbow Troops 2: Edensor

Ikal and Arai winning scholarships to study at the Sorbonne, Paris. Their arrival in Europe were welcomed by cold weather. They were not acceptable in a temporary shelter, for being late and did not tell beforehand. Ikal’s body froze. Arai tried to rescue him by burrying Ikal’s body with a pile of topsoil.

Through the day in Sorbone they sit next to Manooj, Gonjales, and Ninochka. They were members of the Four Pathetic, the most backward group. They work hard to get more money: serving in cafes to singing on the streets. So they could send money to their parents in Belitung. Ikal’s father wrote to them and hope that his son can be a fertilizer expert or pharmacists. Ikal and Arai already had another dream.

Meanwhile, Katya, a student at the same campus, chosed Ikal to be her boyfriend. Ikal felt guilty. He felt he had desecrated his feelings to Aling. That situation no longer made Ikal focus on his study. He failed his midterm examination. His conflict with Arai made the two friends get different steps.
